Daniela Gray has been making remarkable contributions through her internship at the Latina Women’s League, where she currently serves as the Coordinator of Instructors for English Classes. In this capacity, Daniela has taken on a variety of responsibilities that reflect her leadership and organizational skills. She has been instrumental in planning course schedules and class dates, recruiting and orienting instructors, preparing teaching materials, and overseeing instructor attendance to ensure that course content aligns with the league’s educational objectives. Not stopping there, Daniela also teaches one of the English classes herself, further demonstrating her dedication to supporting her community.
Recently, Daniela expanded her role by promoting the league’s internship opportunities in Spanish classes, actively encouraging more participation and engagement. For the upcoming semester, Daniela will transition into the role of Coordinator of English Classes for the entire program. This new position will involve managing internships, defining coordinator roles, and shaping the future of the league’s English education efforts. To support this transition, she has designed a new internship program that pairs experienced instructors with new interns, creating a smoother onboarding process and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Daniela’s commitment goes beyond her day-to-day responsibilities. She is deeply invested in making the program more organized, accessible, and sustainable. Her efforts to define clearer roles and streamline processes are not only aimed at improving the experience for current participants but also at ensuring the program’s longevity for future interns and instructors. By laying this strong foundation, Daniela is leaving a lasting impact on the league and the community it serves, making her a standout example of leadership in action.
