Entre Nos: Michael Johns
Mixing Things Up: How blocking and mixing affect the processing of codemixed sentences Michael Johns (B.A. in Spanish and Linguistics from UF, 2014) is a NSF Graduate Fellow in Penn State's Department of Spanish, Italian and Portuguese, pursuing a PhD in Language Science and Spanish. His research focuses on the link between production and processing, which he explores through the incorporation of sociolinguistic and corpus-based research into psycholinguistic and lab-based experiments examining bilingual codemixing.
