Mexican film director Celso García shares his experiences as a film director, and on the making of his film “La delgada línea amarilla” (“The Thin Yellow Line”). The film will be featured by the GLFF on Sept. the 23rd at 7 PM, in the Fine Arts Hall of Santa Fe College. That evening, Professor E Hind (DSPS) will be introducing the film and holding the Q & A at the end.

Mixing Things Up: How blocking and mixing affect the processing of codemixed sentences Michael Johns (B.A. in Spanish and Linguistics from UF, 2014) is a NSF Graduate Fellow in Penn State's Department of Spanish, Italian and Portuguese, pursuing a PhD in Language Science and Spanish. His research focuses on the link between production and processing, which he explores through the incorporation of sociolinguistic and corpus-based research into psycholinguistic and lab-based experiments examining bilingual codemixing.
